Information on our Lifetime Guarantee In addition to any guarantee an insurance company offers on the work that we provide, at Van Eck Collision we also offer our own lifetime guarantee on our services. This means that we guarantee for as long as you own your automobile the body repair work and refinishing work that we provided. This does not mean that we guarantee the parts that were purchased and installed on our client's vehicles. However, if you have a concern about a recent repair dealing and you have questions regarding our services or the parts that were replaced please feel free to contact any of our locations for assistance. We will have to physically inspect your vehicle to give you certain information regarding your warranty on the repairs. NOTICE: Van Eck Collision does not guarantee corrosion repairs from returning. Furthermore our company warranties vary if the vehicle is a recreational vehicle, personal watercraft, emergency apparatus, or commercial vehicle. Maintaining your vehicle after repairs After your vehicle has been repaired you need to wait 30 days before having your vehicle hand waxed. You should avoid machined car washes as well, as they can cause damage to your vehicle and do no provide the proper protection for your vehicles paint coat. In 30 days you should bring your vehicle back to us to get a hand wax. At least 1 time per month you should bring your vehicle in to get a full service hand wash. Every 90 days you need to bring your vehicle to us to get the old wax removed and a fresh coat of wax applied by hand. Finally, an exterior detail (buff, polish, and wax) is highly recommended 2 times per year, or every 6 months. Plus you should have your vehicle's interior detailed as well 1 time per year. We recommend these services to maintain the value of your vehicle and to keep it looking it's best. We offer free pick-up and delivery with-in 5 miles of our locations, and we also will put you on a maintenance schedule that we will manage on your behalf. |
